But internally, it feels like a lot.
You're not broken.
There's usually more underneath — and it can be worked through.
How I Can Help
Many people reach out when something begins to feel overwhelming. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin moving toward meaningful change.

My Approach
Therapy works best when it feels safe, respectful, and collaborative. With over 10 years of experience in the social work field — including frontline, community, and health settings — I bring both clinical training and real-world understanding to the therapy space.
My work is guided by a trauma-informed perspective, which means recognizing how past experiences can shape current emotions, behaviours, and relationships. This work isn't just about talking — it's about helping you actually feel different in your day-to-day life.
Evidence-Based Modalities
EMDR
Helps process trauma and unresolved experiences
CBT
Helps shift unhelpful thinking patterns
DBT Skills
Builds emotional regulation and coping skills
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
A structured approach to understanding and shifting beliefs formed around trauma
About
Many people come to therapy because something in life begins to feel heavy — anxiety that won't quiet down, stress that keeps building, or past experiences that continue to shape how they feel, think, and relate to others. My work as a therapist is grounded in helping people slow things down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
I provide virtual therapy for adults across Ontario, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, depression, and life transitions. Therapy is not about fixing what is "wrong" with you — it is about creating space to understand yourself more clearly and developing the tools to move forward with greater balance and clarity.
I am a Registered Social Worker in Ontario, regulated by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. For over 10 years, I have worked in frontline, community, and health settings supporting individuals facing complex emotional and life challenges. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how stress, trauma, and difficult life circumstances impact mental health, relationships, and a person's sense of direction.
Through my work in mental health and social services, I have supported people navigating:
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, recognizing how past experiences can influence present emotions, behaviours, and relationships. I integrate several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), CBT, and DBT skills — to help people better understand patterns that keep them feeling stuck, process unresolved experiences, and develop practical tools for emotional regulation and resilience.
Therapy is a collaborative process. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to help you explore what matters to you and support you in moving toward a more grounded and balanced life.
I was born in Colombia and offer therapy in both English and Spanish. Being able to provide therapy in Spanish allows me to support individuals who may feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their first language and to create a culturally responsive therapeutic space for clients from diverse backgrounds.
My work is also informed by a strong interest in men's mental health. Many men struggle with expectations around emotional expression, identity, and relationships, often carrying challenges silently. While I work with many men exploring these themes, my practice is open to all adults seeking thoughtful and compassionate support.
Outside of my professional work, I place a strong value on family, community, and living a balanced life — values that naturally shape the way I approach therapy, emphasizing connection, authenticity, and creating space for people to reconnect with what matters most to them.
The Process
Getting started is simple. Everything happens online, at a pace that feels right for you.
We begin with a brief consultation call where you can ask questions and see if the approach feels like a good fit — no commitment required.
In the first session we explore what has brought you to therapy and identify the areas you would like to work on together.
Sessions focus on building insight, developing practical strategies, and processing experiences that may be keeping you stuck.
Taking the Next Step
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you do not have to navigate things alone. If you are considering therapy for anxiety, trauma, stress, or other personal challenges, you are welcome to connect.
